In 2 classes learn how to paint from sight using classical painting techniques from Kamloops Art Party Artist Chris!

The first class, February 21st covers drawing fundamentals in order to construct an underpainting, as well as the recommended uses of various brushes.  You will learn how to mix colours and oil mediums in order to produce subtle colour shifts when glazing the underpainting.

The second class, February 28th, will be focused on scumbling in order to add texture, saturation and contrast to complete the painting!

Includes all supplies, canvas, oil paints, instruction, painting storage and clean up.

Although we provide aprons please wear appropriate painting clothing.  Masks are required upon entry of the studio and to be worn for the duration of this class.
